Sonic Vault
Free, open-source, offline-first music player for Windows, Android, Linux, and macOS. Point it at a music folder and press play - no streaming, no subscriptions, no accounts. Your music, your covers, your lyrics, your rules.
Problem & solution
Your music lives in someone else's vault
Streaming services lock your library behind subscriptions, accounts, and an internet connection - and offline players are mostly abandoned-ware that force you to live with their defaults. You can't choose your own cover art, your .lrc lyrics sit unused, and every "personal player" quietly pushes you toward their store instead of your folder.
A vault that actually belongs to you
Sonic Vault plays your local library - point it at any music folder and it just plays. Pick any image as cover art for songs and playlists, drop an .lrc file next to your music for karaoke-style synchronized lyrics, browse by genre/artist/album from embedded metadata, and control everything from global keyboard shortcuts. Shipped as signed Windows installers, signed Android releases, and a self-hosted F‑Droid repository - rebuilt automatically by CI on every release.
