Un Vibe
Omnikon's social platform for developers. Share updates, follow projects, and stay in sync with the open-source community - built under the Omnikon org.
Problem & solution
Open-source communities lack a dedicated social layer
GitHub handles code and issues, but there's no central place for open-source orgs to share project updates, celebrate merges, discuss ideas, or build a community around their work. Discord is too noisy, Twitter is too broad, and org websites are static. Contributors and maintainers need a space that feels like theirs.
A social hub for the Omnikon org
UnVibe gives Omnikon a dedicated social feed where members post updates, follow projects, react to milestones, and stay in sync. Built as a lightweight Next.js app with TypeScript and Tailwind, integrated with Omnikon's GitHub org for identity and project data. Designed to scale beyond Omnikon into a general-purpose social layer for any open-source organization.
